2008 Les Brottiers Cotes du Rhone

January 24, 2015 wholder

130495  Brotte’s 2008 Les Brottiers Cotes du Rhone presents great value for a classic blend of Rhone varietals.  This is a classy Chateauneuf du Pape producer’s entry level Rhone and it’s done well.  A typically French, more austere, drier style, but there’s fine balance and acidity.  A solid “food” wine.

(approximately $17 as a specialty listing if you can find the latest vintage) Good
