2013 Real de Aragon Garnacha

May 4, 2017 wholder

A great find in the value category, how can you say no to this under the radar treat from Calatayud, Spain.  A lovely deep black cherry colour leads to strawberries and spice on the nose.  Decent balance with a slight sweetness on the finish.  Is this the greatest Garnacha on the planet? No. Is it a great bargain and worthy addition to your summer BBQ’s this year?  Definitely.  Bring on the sun and burgers!
